Cessna 150 thru 150K Spinner

Background:

The Sensenich 69CK series propeller is Type Certified for use on the Cessna 150 thru 150K models. Cessna spinner part# 0450021-1 dome and #0450020-1 rear bulkhead were fitted to the 69CK propeller. When Cessna purchased McCauley, they changed to a McCauley propeller and spinner. The two spinners are not interchangable. If you currently have a McCauley propeller, you must change the spinner to go with the Sensenich propeller. The Cessna spinner parts for the Sensenich 69CK propeller have become difficult to purchase.

Discussion:

Until now, many customers who wanted to replace their unairworthy McCauley propeller with a Sensenich, were unable to, due to pricing constraints on the Type Certified spinner assembly. We now have available a new spinner that can be purchased with the 69CK propeller as a package. Customers who already are using the Sensenich propeller need to only purchase the propeller. When ordering the propeller and spinner combo, customers should order the 69CK propeller with an 'S' prefix. For example an S69CK-0-50L will get you a propeller, mounting bolts, spinner, and necessary paperwork. Ordering a 69CK-0-50L will get you everything except the spinner.

One final point to remember: The 69CK propeller is Type Certified for use on the Cessna 150 thru 150K. The spinner will come with STC paperwork. If you have a Cessna 150L or 150M, we have a complete STC package for you.

When Climb/Cruise propellers are recommended, the lower pitch (Climb Prop) can be expected to offer better take-off, climb, and high-altitude performance. The higher pitch (Cruise) propeller should be chosen only if take-off and climb are not critical.
